Choir
Leads the congregation in songs and provide music at weekend liturgies and other special celebrations. Choirs practice forty-five minutes before their respective Masses every Sunday. Rehearsals for special celebrations are scheduled as needed. There is no audition – all are welcome!
Resurrection Choir
Sings at funerals. Members of this group must have a certain flexibility of schedule.
Cantor
Leads with a clear, strong voice, has good leader skills, and is comfortable singing in front of the Assembly. Some music reading is required. Anyone wishing to cantor should schedule an appointment to sing for the Director of Music Ministry. The cantor must practice with the organist or director before his/her appointed Mass time. Initial individual training will be provided. Occasionally, the cantor may be asked to sing for special occasions.
Celebration Band
Celebration bands perform and practice in the same time and space as the 10 a.m. choir on Sunday mornings. Often more challenging and lively music is chosen for our celebration services.
Instrumentalists
Open to high school-age youth and adults. Instruments play at weekly liturgies and on special feasts.
