The Rosebud Program
Our parish offers support to families at all stages, including before a child is even conceived. If you are trying to start a family, stop by our Narthex and look for the Elizabeth Ministry's Rosebud Program. When you place one of the flowers into the vase, our ministry members will offer daily prayers for you and your family, whether you:
- Are trying to conceive or adopt
- Are pregnant
- Have recently given birth or adopted
- Have experienced a pregnancy or infant loss
- Are experiencing troubled times
- Have become grandparents
Children's Chapel
At our congregation, everyone is welcome, including infants, toddlers, and those with special needs. We embrace the joyful noise and unique presence each person brings to our Mass. If you feel your family would be more comfortable experiencing Mass in a more relaxed atmosphere, we do offer a Children's Chapel, a space annexed to the back of our main church sanctuary. It has comfortable seating and an audio feed.
Sacred Steps (Coming Soon!)
Sacred Steps is a program by Elizabeth Ministry for families of little ones from birth to four years of age. This program provides families with materials and resources which educate them regarding development of babies and toddlers, identifies their own growth as parents, provides great ideas regarding age-appropriate activities to do with little ones, and most importantly shares how parents can create homemade holiness!
Children's Corner
Our children's corner, located in the back corner of the Narthex by the Children's Chapel, has a rotating selection of coloring and activity sheets, "busy bags" for Mass, children's rosaries (free for the taking!) and a lending library of religious-themed books and DVD's. Take one to look at during Mass, or borrow it for the week. (We do ask that you return the books so other families can enjoy them too!)
Children's Liturgy - Little Lambs (Ages 2-6)
Toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners can experience a children's liturgy & themed activities during the 10 AM Mass on most Sundays. The children start out Mass with their parents, join the Little Lambs team during the readings and gospel, and re-join their parents after the homily. No registration required!
Playroom
Our preschool classroom is open on Sundays (and at other times, by request). Your child can look at age-appropriate Catholic books, draw, and play with a variety of open-ended toys. We ask that parents please supervise their child(ren) while they are in the playroom.
Playground
Our outdoor play space welcomes your family whenever the weather cooperates! It is located outside the Fellowship Hall.
